Using XML as DB in java...
Mostly we design some applications which require lightweight DB other than traditional one's (like -sql,mysql etc.) , & may be we don't want to use any such DB in our application by targeting faster execution rather than targeting Security of information. so the best approach to this prob. is using XML as DB in our application. However there is API for such task using XML as DB is available , but manual written code makes the execution faster. so i have done a tiny work on it. using jsp as front view to receive input information. here we used only 2 info. name & salary of employee in some company. servlet is used to execute the operation of DB insertion & reading the DB. insertXML.java is named the servlet which is target of the form after posting the info. from jsp page. ReadXML.java is targeted to read info from xml file. & the info is shown in tabular form. same concept can be extended further & can be used with other operations of DB supported.
